     Researching Ferdinand Magellan was hard because every book had something different to say about him. I think our group did fine but, we could have done better if we could do it at home. We would try to our bibliography. We would have also summarized our information better.Another thing we could have done differently was to use a different background.

      If I could create another website I would do it on George Washington Carver. I would include his early life, children, uses for peanuts, and his death. It would explain each and every of his uses for peanuts. I will inlclude his personal life and his early life. Then I will write about his death and his legacies.

     My group and I chose Epcot. We chose Epcot because it wasn’t too expensive or too cheap. Also because it seemed exciting when we were reading about it. I think my family would choose the same theme park for the same reasons. Epcot seems like it would be worth it to spend the $250.

     Personally, I would choose Seaworld because I like sea creatures. The park is interesting on T.V. The whale is really cool because of the tricks it does. I would be throwing money to the whale even though it doesn’t need it because it is that cool. I think my group members would disagree with my choice.

     I decided to choose Harry Houdini for this journal entry. I chose Harry Houdini because his illusions and his escapes from traps are amazing. One time in August 5, 1926 he was sealed away in casket underwater and escaped. By the way, he was in a straight-jacket with chains wrapped around him. Harry’s magic tricks and illusions were not as popular as his escapes.

     Harry died of peritonitis and a ruptured appendix. Peritonitis is an inflammation of the peritoneum. He had peritonitis for a while, but decided not to have surgery. So, he just continued his career until a man came up to him and punched in the stomach to see if he could tke any hit. It was reported that he puched several more times after he was showing signs of pain. After he died, a mameorial was made to honor Harry Houdini. He had forever changed magic, illusions, and escape artistry.

     The Anti-Bullying workshops were very boring. Cyber-bullying was included in the workshops. I mean nobody would die if they weren’t so gullible. Its not like your going to meet your true love on the internet unless you go onto http://www.match.com or some other website. Who knows, it might be Michael Jackson or R. Kelly or maybe some pervert. I listened to some information they read out about the girl doing suicide was kind of interesting. A girl commited suicide after a message was sent to her saying that everyone hated her. She received this message from a boy that she liked on the internet.

     They could have made it better if they made the workshops funny because anything that is funny always gets my attention. Instead of singing a song maybe they could have done stand-up show about anti-bullying. A joke about how dumb bullies are or a joke about what they eat for breakfast(shoes). Other than that it was pretty good.

One lesson I learned during break was to take care of the planet. At a workshop in Educational Talent Search(ETS), we picked up trash and planted trees. Then, at home I convinced my parents to buy a hybrid car. I started to re-cycle at my house the next day. I didn’t know how to re-cycle so, I went to the internet to find how to re-cycle.
The second lesson I learned was to eat healthy. While my family and me were at Denny’s, everyone decided to eat steak, but I ate a soy burger and drank water(lots and lots and lots of water). I learned to eat healthy at home as well. I am eating more vegetables than I used to. I also have a good breakfast most of the time.

     To take good pictures, use you viewfinder to find what you want to take a picture of. Keep your hands steady so the picture won’t make the objects look like they are moving at light speed. Then turn the fill flash feature on before you take a picture, which will help you lighten dark areas. Then, press the shutter halfway so the camera will use it’s auto focus feature. After you have it in focus, press the shutter all the way. If you want excellent pictures, follow what it says in the first couple sentences.(OR DIE!)

     Then the picture will be saved onto a Compact Flash, Flash Memory, Smart Media, Memory Stick, or an SD card depending on the manufacturer. The more megapixels you have in your camera, the better your pictures will look, but the more megapixels a camera has, the more expensive it will be. The less pixels there are in your camera, the picture will get pixelization or the “jaggies.” The picture could be saved as either a JPG, TIFF, PNG, or a Thumbnail file. Then, you can transer you files via Card Reader or USB.    

     In room T-8, Ms.Gumataotao was having a game room. The students were playing Call of Duty 4 on the PS3. Joel said,” It is fun, but I just wish the line wasn’t so long.” Joel said, “Hey we are losing anyway so lets do suicide!” Joel really did cause his character to die by throwng a grenade right in front of him. I also interviewed Jantzen. He said,”WOOOOOO! This place is way better than my house.”

     In room 27, Mr.Gomez was letting the kids have freetime. Some kid was rolling on the floor for some reason. I saw my friends sitting next to the carpet talking to each other. Fred said,” Dr.OCTAGONAPUS BLAH! This is really fun!” Fred is that weird.

     I chose each of these questions because the questions are smart. The first question is dealing with their  maturity. The second is to see if they are healthy by eating breakfast and the third to raise their spirits by pointing out the obvious. These questions are weird and. I like these questions like the sign right below this post. Only what you would expect from an idiot’s blog. 

          I thought Reuben had the most interesting survey because his survey taught me that the color purple is more than just a color, but a shampoo, a book, a cure for diarrhea, and hobo weapon. Now, every time I walk around my neighborhood, I keep three dollars in spare change to throw at hobos just so they can leave me alone. His survey is interesting also because he asks questions that a “special” person could answer. If I wanted to be asked those questions I would watch Dumb and Dumberer again. His survey just might be my FAVORITE! 

    
There were some weird responses to my survey. The weirdest thing I found in my spreadsheet was the name Billybob Shebangbang Billbobby. If I saw who was Billybob Shebangbang Billbobby, I would burn the name in goat feces make a worshiping chamber in my closet for it for coming up with a truly original name. Only four boys said that they had a mustache and that kind of scares me because they have to be their teen years. It could just be the quadruple chocolate cake or gravity or even R. Kelly.
